I recently purchased a Boker Trapper, model 4525 with stag scales. On the bolster it is marked with the number 075 and the clip blade is marked "Tree Brand Classic" 4525, 440C in silouhette on the blade and "Boker, Solingen, Germany, Rostfrei" on the tang. Was this a special model and if so when might it have been manufactured?

Thank you,

Here is a picture of my new Boker trapper as requested now that I figured out how to post.

At the beginning of the 90s, we launched the most succesful models of that series with stag and 440C steel.

This one, with the number in the bolster, is most likely one piece of the First Production Run. It is a pretty unusual way of marking a serial number, which makes this series pretty special.

I´m sorry but this is all info I could get on that model.

Sir,
Thank you for researching this. It is a very nicely made knife and the stag scales are well figured and matched. My first Boker!
