New Boker Whittler Red Smooth Bone

I just recieved today, a new Boker red smooth bone 3-blade whittler, model no. BO280SRBI. Beautiful knife, but one issue is the center brass piece at the end joint, that separates the 2 small blades. It actually moves a small bit and does not close up flush with the end joint when the 2 blades are closed.

Is this normal? I am reluctant to send it back, or should I pursue under the warranty process?

Sounds like the liner may be loose. I have had a few knives do this over the years, although none of them were Bokers. If you feel like it is not right, give them a call. They are excellent about standing behind their products. Good luck!
