Hello Forum,
I am new to the forum and to knife collecting. Today I was at a gun show and came across what I beleive is a Boker Tree Brand model 2002 from 1989. The box came with it, but no sheath. I only paid $25 for it, which I beleive is a really good deal. It is in new condition. If you could enlighten me about this knife and the history of the model, I would really appreciate it. Am I correct it is a Model 2002 and was made in 1989? Did I do good on the buy, or did I get screwed? (I really doubt it). I know very little about Boker other than they are high quality knives. I've done a little bit of surfing on their website last week, but I'm going to now do more research about them on the web and on there site.

By the way, this is my first real Boker, and the second "good" knife that I own. I do have a Boker Plus trapper, but I do not consider it a high end knife-it's a China-made user for the trap shed. This new knife, made in Soligen, is definitely a high quality knife. Anyway, thank you in advance for any input you can provide.
