Hey guys,
After numerous requests from folks, which I ignored because I had neither the inclination nor sufficient motivation to take on such a project, last year my mentor asked me to write a book on this topic, with the focus on young men moving to a new city away from home and how to keep themselves safe.
I have never considered myself a suitable role model for anyone, as I've been more of a bad example most of my life, but now that I'm over 50, married, and finally was able to put the past behind me, I've settled down and mellowed out a lot, so I figured I'd take a shot at writing a book I wished someone woulda given me back when I was young and stupid.
I am not "promoting" a product here or trying to sell anything or scam anyone. Just hoping some of the members here might be open to receiving a FREE copy of this book to read and post an honest unbiased review on Amazon.
Only a few minor conditions and caveats to this offer:
1. You must be supporting this site as a paid member (at least Basic membership level, preference given to Gold or higher).
2. You must have an active account on Amazon with at least 3 product reviews posted.
3. You must understand that this book contains profanity... rather a lot of profanity... and delves into difficult and uncomfortable topics. You may be upset or offended by some of what you read. That is actually kinda the point, to snap people out of their complacency and enable them to see things from new perspectives.
4. This is a very big book. Nearly 400 pages in a 8.5" X 11" paperback format.
5. I am shipping on my own dime, so FREE reviewer copies will only be sent within CONUS, no exceptions.
It takes me several weeks to get reduced price author copies, which will then be shipped to reviewers via USPS Priority Mail, so you will not receive this until mid December.
I expect to get numerous requests for FREE book... however, I am limiting myself to giving away only ten. I will only accept requests via PM (paid memberships only). These requests will be numbered and selected randomly (unless we know each other or you are an Amazon Top Reviewer or host a popular podcast or something, then you go to the top of the list... provided you are CONUS with an active Amazon account and at least 3 product reviews). I will be accumulating requests over the next two to three weeks, then will randomly pick ten when the next batch of author copies arrive.
