I made 4 of these – all in S30V. Two different grinds. 600 grit satin finish. Lengths are about 8.5" & the blades are about 4". The boot sheaths are by Kenny Rowe. One is handled in amboyna, the other in spalted sweet chestnut. 416 guards with buffalo horn spacers. They are going on my site and to the NCCA show this weekend. I'll post a couple more things before I go. Hopefully, I'll be lighter a couple knives by the end of the weekend.

Thanks for looking, Bob

That is some great looking knives.Did you just glue the handles on?I haven't been able to find the way to attach the handle on a hidden tang without the use of a buttcap.
Thank you
Tony

Tony, I drill the handle out for the tang and fill it with Brownell's Acraglass (sometimes mixed with a bit of saw dust), then clamp it shut in a jig I made. I think you will find a lot of knifemakers use this material and have found it superior.

Thank you Bob,I take it this is the same way you did your Scagel style knife? That was a beautiful kife:D .
Again Thank you
Tony

Bob, you have the touch! Wow! Man this is why we make knives, isn't it? Wish I was going to get to see those babies in person. Your grinding is top notch and the overall lines just right. I like your sheaths too, just what's needed for your application. I might recommend an alternate sheath for the show too, in case someone wants to wear one of these on a belt - where it can be admired! Thanks for sharing,

Dave

Thanks, Dave. Actually, these sheaths work well in about four ways, Inside a boot, inside a pocket, outside a pocket or clipped to a belt. I like it clipped to a belt. It's quick to put on and you don't release the snap to draw it, you just pull it through. I also tried one for a day inside my Double H Harness boots - didn't even know it was there.

Take it easy, Bob
