The Post Office brought me something fun!

Boss.jpg

My problem now is that she needs pants. I'm trying to decide if I want to go with kydex, leather, or nylon. This is going to be a frequently used knife that's either going to be worn on a belt or carried in a shoulder bag. Suggestions?

By the way, that's a wolverine it's resting on.

Kydex. I absolutely LOVE the sheath I got from steelnut. Well fitting, and very reasonable price wise.

I might get leather for one of those DC proto's:D:D
but kydex for the Combat Grade for me...

How you got the Wolverine to just lay there while you took the photo is amazing!

Yeah I think I'd just go with kydex, much tougher and less or no maintenance needed. You must be a trapper with the wolverine huh? Nice!

it woul always be kydex if i had to choose one for outdoor use, near indestructable and will not retain moisture

The Carbon fiber print in "armor" kydex (.125") that I make have been quite popular. :D

Lol! I was thinking the same thing! Well trained beast! :D

I'll be doing some kydex lined leather for this one for sure, but my own will wear Kydex, plain and simple, like the knife ...

+1 on this. I have one of these David made for my proto...hands down the best kydex shealth I have. Easy to draw, perfect lockup with a nice snap on reentry, looks sexy.
It was the third sheath he's made I have gotten, he does really great work.
