Unfortunately, this one is not mine, but Tommy was nice enough to send me a few images. Enjoy!

thanks guys this went to a customer in dallas.it can out so nice that i''m making one for the reno show. and thanks again tommy

Wow. Look at how even and straight that grind is on the handle as shown by that second picture.

Oh MAN

I love coffin style, frame constructed handles. Can really see the Hancock influence in that filework and that's a good thing.:thumbup::thumbup:

Very Nice!
I would love to know how you get those pins so nice.

very nice knife, even the coffin handle which im normally not into This is a job well done!

Everything i've seen made by Tommy Gann has been superbly well made and these two are too! The ivory coffin handle is gorgeous and the filework just makes it even nicer.

the pins are silver and easy to flar with out cracking the ivory.i put 5 layers of scotch tape over the holes and start hammering then remove one at a time and on the last one i sand and polish it .leaving the last one helps protect the ivory from getting scratch up.remove the last piece and check for rough edges and away you go.
thanks guys for the great remarks. tommy

Tommy's work is truly impressive. I have seen these images earlier during some discussions Tommy and I have been having, and was pretty blown away then ...... so much so it changed the direction of the project slightly.

Whilst there are certainly echoes of Tim Hancock's work (if your going to choose an influence why not one of the best eh!) in his pieces, Tommy's work is also readily identifiable as his own .... combine that with the buckets full of skill being demonstrated, and you have a very strong recipe for success!

I am the owner of this knife and I appreciate the thoughtful remarks. Tommy Gann was a pleasure to do buisness with-he is going to be a BIG star in the custom knife world for years to come. I hope this is just the first knife he will make for me...

Welcome to Bladeforums.

Rule #1: Don't swell a new maker's head with effusive praise. ;)
