Cocobola Bowie
bowie%20cocobola.JPG

This Bowie has a 6 1/2" forged blade (12" total length) of multi-edge quenched 5160 spring steel with a hand-rubbed finish. The contoured guard is brass. The handle is cocobola with a throat of buffalo horn, copper & black spacers. The handle is finished off with a copper/brass mosaic pin. The sheath is cow hide with a snake skin inlay, by Tess. This knife is also the first of two with my new logo on it.

That is a great looking knife! Handle looks like it would be very comfortable in multiple hand positions.

This is a beauty. I love the overall design and I am really partial to the contrasts between the copper, brass and buffalo horn.

That is a great looking knife, and I have to add you really do have a signature look to your work. That's not easy to develope with all of the other custom makers out there.

HI J, great looking Bowie....I like the way the sheath compliments the handle..tell Tess great job

PS : shop up date....grinder & mill are wired and runing...one more 110 line & Im BACK:D :

Great John. With a new shop comes new inspiration. Your work is already great, can't wait to see "what's to come".
