Here is one that I forged out of 5160. Stag and wrought Iron finish it up... Thanks for looking..
 
I like it a lot. How did you get the aged finish on the blade?

One thing that I think would have made it look even better is a spacer.
 
Thanks alot guys. I etched the wrought in FC. The patina is a 5 step process.
1- apply mustard in a random pattern and let dry. Rinse off.

2- apply cold blue cream in a pouncing motion using a acid brush.

3- spray the blade with bleach while it is still covered with the bluing.

4- wash the blade and then neutralize it in a TSP/baking soda solution.

5- oil the blade.

Yeah, I think a spacer would look nice as well ...maybe next time..
 
Great looking knife very rustic Any outdoorsmans would be proud to wear it on his hip.
