havent had much shop time so far this month, been busy with new house and all. but here's one i managed to finish up.

01 tool steel, elk handle, s.s. fittings. the top of guard and butt cap have a ball pien textured finish.

sorry for the poor pics, got this new camera and havent quite figured out how to work it so wel yet.

Andy, this is the best work I've seen you produce! I really like how you did the butt cap on that beautiful stag. :thumbup:
 
thanx will, the top of the guard is done the same way , and it fades off to the mirror polished edges.

these photo's are horrible , i need to get some better close ups.

Nice overall profile, great stag which is highlighted by your capturing the
texture via fileworking the fittings. The textured butt cap also
provides a nice touch.

The poor images don't provide much of a clue as to the fit/finish, however since I've examined your work very closely, I'd bet it's quite good. ;)

kevin, i got this new camera, got a 15x zoom, should be showing excellent pics. unfortunatelly it's smarter than i. im thinking retaking them, cause the effects on the gaurd are just as cool as the butt cap.

Good looking knife. The stag stands out and that's some nice texture on the fittings. :thumbup:
