New Box

I received a new Buck knife for Christmas. It is a Limited Edition from the custom shop. It has a gold deer with antler cut out in the blade. My problem is the store where my wife bought it, put the price tag on the top of box. When she was removing the tag, she tore the top shiney layer off of the box in about 1 1/2" square. Do you think Buck will send me a new top for the box if I contact them after the Holiday shut down? Also, how do I contact them? Thanks, Dwain

I'm sure Buck will work something out for you. I would email Joe Houser(he's the consumer relations man) several days after the plant re-opens to give him some time to clear out his incoming email first. His email address is Jhouser@Buckknives.com. Sounds like you got a great gift for Christmas!
 
John, Thanks a lot for the info. That's probably a real good idea to wait a few days after they get back. I bet they will be swamped after such a long time away. I know I was covered up today after only being gone for 2 days. You are right about this being a great gift, as it is a really nice knife. The Mrs. has real good taste. Thanks again, Dwain
 
John, if Joe's email box after shutdown is anything like it was after his hunting trip,we may NEVER hear from him again... I do belive he is STILL playing catch up:) :D :)

I received an E-mail from Joe Thursday stating he would send me a new box as soon as he can get it out. That's pretty good customer service in my opinion. Thanks Joe. Dwain
