Hi,

Well I have been learning a lot on the board and have had some help from some of the members here. Anyways I made my second purchase and am starting to build my collection.

So I have actually known about Bailey Bradshaw for at least a couple years and have always liked his work. His engraving and clean lines are really what drew me to him. Anyways Les Robertson has had 2 of Bailey's pieces up on his website for a couple weeks and so I finally had to buy one.

description from Les's website
"7 1/4" flat ground bowie style blade, blued bolster with Gold inlay, Sanbar Stag scales, 1084, satin finish with "cloud" hamon on both sides of the blade, blued and gold inlaid finial."

It is currently in transit and I can't wait to get it.

That looks sweet! Is it going under lock and key or does it require long walks where cutting will be needed?

Hmm I don't know yet. It very well might need to come out to work with me. In general most of my knives end up in the field. If this one doesn't I will for sure be getting another one from Mr. Bradshaw for use in the field.

That is a slick piece. Nice stag and beautiful engraving. A lot of knife for the money. I love Bailey's work and have for a long time.

Nice! From your early taste in customs, I believe an awesome collection is underway. Great pick up. Bailey is one super maker.

That is a sweet piece. Too pretty to work it hard in the field, but It needs a serious place for display. Any chance you might be able to post some pics from other angles. Top, bottom, left and right. We all love good knife porn! :) Les limits his views.

I will attempt to take some more pictures when it arrives. It should be here on friday. I take horrible picture so I will apologize ahead of time. I really need to work on my picture taking skills. Anyways thank you for the compliments:) I have a long way to go to catch up to some of the people on these forums.

Good score. Bailey is certainly one of the best values out there. He is as clean as anyone, and more versatile than most everyone. I can't think of that many others who can go the way he does from slick interframe folders to full-on traditional katana and everything in between (all the while carving and engraving as if he did only that fulltime!).
