Diamondite is enhanced S3V...how it's enhanced will be revealed soon, but suffice it to say that TOUGH is an understatement. ;)

What is the official name for this stuff? DiamondSteel, Diamond Steel, or Diamondite?

Hi Cliff...

It's Crucible's designation and it's 3V...not S30V...I will make sure that I didn't print it in error, but I'm pretty sure I'm correct.
 
any idea on the price? Ball park is fine. On a side note, my faithful Brend pre-pro model might have to come back home for a little fix. I missed a few critical hits at full force and hit some metal. I dinged the edge in 2 places pretty good. I don't think that I can fix it myself. But, it is only cosmetic, it still cuts and throws and chops like a bad mother, but I don't like the way it looks. Keep up the good work Andy. I can't wait for an upgrade on what is already a top quality model.
 
Enhanced CPM 3V! Yikes, that must be some tough stuff!! I guess I'll need one of these when they come out.
