New BT

Received my new BT today from fellow Forumite Panzer075 (Chris) who emailed me from my post last week. Two weeks ago I knew nothing about Strider, but somehow got sucked in and I made a great choice with a perfectly smooth transaction. Panzer075 provided all of the pertinent info very accurately so thanks again. Glad that I could help as well as Chris sold me one of his doubles so that he could get another Strider.
What was that on the Strider website about Enlisted Marines being eligible for discounts and Officers not? As a 2nd Lt. I traded rank insignia for a day with a LCpl and felt very "at home". Does that qualify for anything?

It actually says that officers don't get the discount? Whoah, somebody has an authority problem. Just kidding.

Well, I had an authority problem myself which got even worse as a Captain. That's gotta be good for something - maybe a free Model DB?

It's important to remember that we are not bashing Officers and non active enlisted.
It's a monetary thing. Active duty enlisted men make no money. Yet they require excellent tools.
