I have had my 110 a little over a month. It just started not closing all the way about a week ago. If you let the blade go it will close all but about a 1/4 of the way. I've already tried putting a buch of 3-in-1 oil on the pivot and that worked for one or two closings and now its doing it again. Please help!

Give it a good cleaning and get any unseen debris out of the pivot, then lube and work it a bit by opening/closing.My hunting nbuddy had his 110 full of tree sap and was doing the same thing.good luck.

Check the notch in the blade tang (that the backspring fits into); that sometimes picks up pocket lint, pieces of buffing compound, dried blood, tree sap...etc... :D

yes i have had that not closing allt he way also from "lint,ect.."
from pocket and other use..

If nothing seems to be working for you, also look into the handle and look at the spring in there that engages the lock,if there is any pocket lint/debris there, all the washing and oiling in the world isn't going to help it open properly.give it a look!
