New Buck 110 for me...

Well guys, I bit the bullet. I bought a custom 110 from BK. I should get in in 4-5 weeks.

This purchase was kind of an impulse purchase. See, my first knife ever was a 110. I bought it myself when I was 18. This knife was what really drew me into loving knives. I have been broke ever since. :D

I sold that old 110 years ago for a small profit. I sold it for over $80 on ebay. Not too shabby; I think I spent maybe $10 on it. Probably less.

One day I was searching the for sale section and noticed the Buck for sale section, so I went in to check it out. I saw someone was selling a Buck with s30v steel. I figured someone added it themselves and I passed.

For some reason, that knife kept egging at me. So, I went to Buck's site and saw a custom build option. I could not believe it. After about a week of research with you great Buck lovers, I decided to bite and get one.

PS-I plan on finding a way to EDC this IN my front pocket. If anyone has any good ideas on pulling that one off, please let me know. I have to wear dress pants to work (cannot wear on belt).

Regarding carrying the front pocket of dress pants - just make yourself a pocket holster. A design like a pocket holster for handguns would work great. The knife would stand upright and the holster would protect the knife from other stuff in the pocket and give you easy access to the knife.

That is a beauty for sure, but I predict it will be the first of many. Like Lay's chips, I bet ya can't buy just one. ;)

that is the way it always goes, huh. :D

i just wish one was able to order up the 112 as a custom on the BK site. it would be sweet to order the 112 and 110 in identical styles. :thumbup:
