I bought over 100 of the new Chairman Series silver nickel Buck 110's and I have used about 75 so far and found four of these sheaths in the ones opened so far. They were sold as ones that were supposed to have nylon sheaths but all but these four so far have had the new Made In the USA leather sheath.

So it is all pretty muddled to me and I am curious to see if anyone else has seen these nylon sheaths.

I believe they now come with the Chairman 110's also available is a made in USA Leather, but neither is currently available on the website.

I haven't seen those yet! They look very nice////I'm pretty excited Buck is trying to bring back USA made everything.

Well,i hate to say it,but that sheath looks ugly,i wouldn't buy one nor use one if it was given to me,just not my style, also the sheath made in mexico looks better built to me and of better quality, the snap on the usa sheath doesn't even say buck on it.Whats with the grey accents trim>>?//no thanks.LOL

I'm lucky that I'm not the first one with this opinion ;) but that's my thought too:
The flap has bulges and stripes like back bacon and the sewing, especially on the
backside down looks, carefully phrased, like an unsuccessful attempt from
somebody who never used a sewing machine. The combination light gray and
anhtracite doesn't show a good taste IMHO. I won't like to have such low level
pouches for my high quality Buck knives.

Razorblades and Haebbie - Perhaps Buck came to the same conclusion and that is why I have only found four of them in 75 boxes that were supposed to have them. ;)

Is this a joke?

Looks like it was made to be part of a Halloween costume.

BAD IDEA!

Please.......quick!

Somebody CALL CHUCK BUCK and have him put a stop to it!!!

Buck is flying by the seat of their pants again!

Why did Buck deliver these questionable pouches? I would send it back if I get a Knife with a pouch like this.

Looking over my mexico cordura sheaths,i can't compain about construction or materials, both are rock solid, and looks much better than those ones pictured.I'd still like to see buck make their own sheaths in house, and go back to the early low rider buck 110 sheath that is cut down to allow easy access and it also makes it a lot more user friendly trying to put your knife away.

The 1st shipments went out with the stock sheaths
The sheath above is V1 of the USA made sheaths
V2 has Buck on the button

I'll forward your design feedback.

I like the made in USA part but why light colored piping? I like solid black myself.

I have to say that I am not to big on the gray trim. I would also prefer all black... or all gray for that matter. But not matter the color, I'm happy to see it made in the USA and might have to track one down for the collection. I usually do not carry in a sheath anyway.

Here's a good idea.

Next time check with us first.

;)

So, it is looking like it was a good idea for me to post this here. :D I wonder if they actually wanted this version to be shipped and how many more I will find.

Great.

You might also fire the bright boy who decided putting "Buck" on the button would solve the problem.

:D
