New Buck 110 with cool features. The article says it has nickel silver bolsters, but would it not make more sense to use aluminum bolsters for a lightweight pocket knife.

It's not as elegant as the Lochsa in my opinion, but still nice. Looks like it's utilizing the same pocket clip as the Spitfire.
 
thanks for posting. i had to add one. i sure like pocket clips and one handed opening via factory not modified after the fact.

aluminum would be interesting. i can live with the nickel and weight.
 
Hey, I like that Thumb Disc and I like where they positioned it. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I prefer tip down, but I could live with this.

Nice job on this knife.
 
Not a fan of the disk. Not being able to position it where it works best for me is a deal breaker.

That being said; the burnt bone handles are pretty cool!

I seen it the other day in the BO list in the newsletter and hunted it down.

I'm not a fan. Thumb studs/disks have always seemed awkward to use to me, and are just not needed on the 110. Pocket clips are OK on some knives, but are out of place on the 110. That's just my opinion. Others have a different opinion I know. The seller of this special run, will probably sell all they had made. Just not to me.

I like it....would like it better if the pocket clip was reversible for southpaws, like the thumb disc is ambi............
