New Buck 124 stamp?

Hi all,

Has anyone bought a Buck 124 this year? If so, can you check the USA stamp and tell me if yours is stamped U.S.A. or USA?

I just got one and it looks beautiful and appears to be authentic but it is stamped USA with no dots. All of my other 100 series Bucks have the dots (but are older).

This past year, Buck started using a deep laser engraver instead of stamping on 420HC knives. They left off the dots from USA on some examples I've seen. Here are a couple threads about the change:

ok, whewwww. I was nervous, because this was bought off of amazon and I thought the 124 was a buck web exclusive, so I was worried amazon might be selling fakes, but it does appear to be legit in every way.

also, sorry, I did search for more than an hour last night, both on this forum and the web in general trying to find the answer before making a new post about it.

This Buck 124 is VERY nice though. I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would.
