New Buck EDC

Yes it looks weird to me too and I’m trying to figure what it’s designed for.

I kinda like the new blade shape. But that pocket clip looks... Wrong?

Like, the way this would carry, the knife's weight would keep it straight down. But, due to the angle of the clip's main bend, only one edge of the clip will rest on the pocket.

Even if the pocket is angled like on some pants, they angle the opposite way.

Unless I'm seeing something wrong, I feel like this will cause premature wear to the pocket.

It's great to see everyone's reactions to these. I've never been a fan of Buck's modern folders and I think maybe these are some of the most appealing ones I've seen.

I don't like that more of the imported options are full height grinds and the majority of the US made knives aren't.

That 843 looks like it was made to pair well with the 891 & 893 ground combat knives.

Yeah, not digging any of those really... I mean, I like the Buck 841, but there's already one with marble carbon fiber scales and red cerakoted screws/clip which looks nicer, IMO.

For some reason the little auto will the small blade like the recent BOTM appeals to me. Since I collect 112's I have been basically carried one for years now. Got 2 on my desk as I write. But I really don't need 3" or longer blades most of the time. And since the carpal tunnel surgery didn't work all that well I absolutely want to EDC a auto.
