Until very recently I knew nothing about Buck knives, except vaguely recalling seeing workmen everywhere carrying a sheathed "buck" knife. Due to a thread/recommendation elsewhere I decided to check out a Buck 110---now I have a 110, 110 Master Series (plain, green handle, silver bolsters) and a Ranger, and am spending too much time at Pete's Custom Knife Shoppe... I have several dozen knives but my Buck 110MS with BG42 blade is my favorite---I won't leave home without it. I just wish I could find someone with some more 110MSs for sale! Anyway, just wanted to say how much I enjoy my Bucks more than any other knives. Keep up the good work---Buck is a company I hope to look forward to buying from for a long time.

John,

Welcome! Glad to have you.
I have seen a few more 110ms for sale on Ebay, you might want to check that out. I don't know if they were the checkered or smooth sided knives.

Welcome aboard. That BG-42 is great stuff. Have you had any experimentation with the Ion Fusion?? That edge even outlasts the BG-42 and the surface process makes the blade more slippery so the action is even smoother.
