New Buck/Strider 882SBTG "tightness"

Hi all,
I just got a new 882SBTG and was wondering if it's common for the blade to be a bit tight to open until broken in. It feels smooth but it's tight. I loosened the pivot screw and put a drop of oil in there but still tight to open. I also noticed that the bronze bushing on the liner lock side of the blade is twice the thickness of the bronze bushing on the opposite side of the blade. Just curious why the two bushings are different thicknesses. I did try the search feature but found nothing. I do love this knife though..... built very tough.
 
I don't know much about them. However, you may want to post on the Buck forum here. Someone there might be able to answer your questions.
 
Thanks ohen cepel. I need to find my way around this site better. I didn't notice there was a Buck forum ..... I'll post over there.
