new buck/strider is here...........

got my buck/strider via fedex today and i am impressed - like to carry a big a$$ folder w/me just in case, am an investigator for the tx dpt of CJ, and have been carrying a SIFU, but w/lock probs was planning to replace w/strider, and i feel better now w/the strider - i think i could chop up the SIFU w/the strider imho - really a lot of knife i tell you, even bigger than the SIFU, lock up tight, especially the first few times i snapped it open, almost had to geta screwdriver to unlock, no probs w/spinewhacking this thing , and bob brothers says this is abuse, hell ,not w/this monster - the only funky thing is that 2 of the clip screws are hex, and 1 is torx - whats up w/that?? i guess just a mistake, but i guess i need to get either 1` or 2 screws lol - really like it though, its ATS34 but got the bos marking, etc - it rocks !!!!!! only other prob is now i have to have an AR............

I have just preordered Buck Strider
Solution in BG-42.
It is a fixed 4-3/42" drop point blade
with G10 handle that looks pretty much
like full grind EB-S.

I just got the buck stider tanto and mini tanto as well a few days ago. these things are insane, I didnt think you could even make a folder with a blade that thick, its like a folding prybar. I have a couple other striders but these things impressed me more than any of the others. I dont think ill ever want another folder, well except for the two spearpoint ones and the AR and GB!
 
If you think the Buck Strider is big, get your hands on an AR. I carried the Buck Strider for 2 years, but once I got the AR the Buck looks tiny next to it. Once you get the AR you'll be impressed.
