Did a little Buck hunting at the knife show in Mt. Vernon this weeked, not alot of 110's there, but found a nice 112 and 301.

The 112 is a very nice Engraved Nickel Silver model, it came with the original box and sheath and hasn't been used. The bolsters on one side had tarnished a bit, but it came right off this morning when I wiped it down.

The 301 is a 1990 with brown bone scales, T Schloz will laugh when he sees this one, I originally passed on it, and showed it to him and he passed on it also, but I kept thinking about it and bought it just before I left. It appears to be mint, no signs of carry or use or sharpening. The guy left it go for $20.00 and one sold on Ebay this morning for $43.75, so I guess I got a deal.

Anyone know much about them, I amm assuming with the bone scales they were a limited run???

TLC - Good price on 301, worth on a good day double. Call these just a 'normal' run. Brown bone limited editions have a medallion on side of scale. Let go with wife for grocery run and I will get a photo up.

I thought there was something familiar about the seller ID but didn't put it together in my head!

Glad yours didn't go for only $20.00!

Does anyone know if these have enough collector value to be in the "don't carry and use" catagory?

I kinda like it.

Naw, I gave $75.00 for it, T Schloz can tell you I sorta debated it for awhile, I wasn't sure if it was worth that or not but I just liked it so much I went ahead and bought it. I am not up on 112 prices yet since I only own 2 now.

How bad did I get hosed? :D

I am sorta curious if it was a limited or special run though, with that blade etch and engraved bolsters. Any of you 112 guys know?

i have seen that 1993 etch before but not with the engraving... it looks great! and engraveing is NOT cheep! i think you did ok on it!

goose, i dont have the 112 club dp and that one is looking sweet ...
like as a 110 almost!!
i wander what they sell for now...the 112 on the bay?
any way, wow !

i was half afarde you would call my bluff and i would ! ahhhh the relife!

TLC,

I got to say that 301 looks a lot better in your photo than it did sitting on that table at Mt. Vernon. I new I would kick myself later.:D
