I am a new member and am just getting back in to collecting knives.
I moved up to the mountains, and realized that I did not have a good fixed blade knife to carry hiking and found this forum while looking for some options.
I ended up getting a Buck 119 and it started me wanting a few more buck knives.

I got these two for my birthday this week

Seeing the posts about 110 reminded me of always seeing my father carrying on and then I had to get one. Having it really brings back memories that I had forgotten.

;)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D
Nice knives .... my EDC is a 110 that I got off of e-bay a few days ago...
misplaced my regular 110.I lke the design of your other folder...tha 119
is a great camping and hunting knife.

I am “old school” when it comes to my guns,

I use a #4 MK1 Lee Enfield as my hunting rifle and carry a S&W model 14 as my trail pistol

I used to "convert" #4's to jungle carbine specs, with aftermarket buttpads & flash hiders. I preferred the #4 in carbine configuration, because the barrel was a bigger diameter. The "jungle carbine" barrel was just too small [diameter] for accurate sustained fire, IMHO... ;)

...Although I used to impress my friends with my skill with mine... :p  :barf:

Here is the 119 I bought, I was not happy with the nylon sheath; it hung to low and rattled.
So I made this leather one up that fits and hangs much better
It is the first knife sheath I have made, although I have done several gun holsters.

Well done:thumbup:. I like to dabble with leather. The flap sheath is my choice for the fixed blades with the alum. pommel, 'cause it scratches easily and the flap serves to protect it. Does make it more difficult to draw the knife...but so many things in life are trade-offs:rolleyes:. Enjoy your Bucks. Preston

Thanks pjsjr,

More good news, my boss just dropped a new Leatherman Charge XTi on my desk and said happy birthday!
