Dear Members,

It is with much excitement and anticipation that I make the following announcement. As some of you know we have been searching for our own building for almost three years and it has been a real roller coaster ride of emotions – on all levels.

We’ve Got One!

Emerson Knives has been bursting at the seams almost since its beginning. At times we could not contain the growth as our reputation grew and grew. We managed pretty well in our current facility but as some who have visited and seen our facility, we are stacked on top of each other.

I’m proud to announce that we have just closed the escrow on a multi-million dollar 12,500 sq. ft. factory here in Southern California.

We got the keys on Monday morning at 10:00 AM and by 10:30 AM we were already tearing out walls and beginning the remodeling and retro fitting process. It will be, when we are done, a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

I will also be building a 3,000 square foot training facility within the building fully equipped with all the gear and equipment to run classes up to 50+ attendees right on site.

This whole process is going to take several months to complete and we are purchasing dozens of machines and new equipment, bringing processes in house and expanding our capability to build more and even better knives.

And the best thing of all is that we are completely self funded. We didn’t have to take on any corporate partners, we didn’t have to sell off any of the company and no one is able to tell us what to do. It’s still me, Mary, and the family.

I will update you as we go forward with this new and exciting project.

Best Regards,

Ernest R. Emerson

P.S. Yes, there will be a grand opening with all the bells and whistles.

Congrats!

Where is the new building in SoCal? We're neighbors.;)

You deserve the success. Like a true capitalist, you put it right back into the business.

Great! Congrats.
I hope this means that some of the unavailable models and promised teasers will be in production soon.
Although I do like the exclusivity of owning a limited edition like my prized Persian!
When will we commoners get a chance of owning a Gentleman Jim?
