New Bulldog Gunstock

I just got one from ebay. It's got torched stag scales and 1095 steel. Supposed to be made by Queen. Came with your standard Queen edge but it sharpened up really quickly. I just thought some people that like 1095 might be interested..

i've been looking at those as well.
i've always liked the gunstock pattern and i'm a big fan of 1095.
the price seems pretty reasonable on these, too.
what do you think of the fit and finish of yours?

Pretty good fit and finish. Nice half stops. I dulled the pen blade down today. I think I thinned the edge a little too much when I resharpened it.. It got a couple of chips. They sharpened out, but I don't think I'll make the edge as thin again. The grind on the pen blade was more obtuse than the clip. I'm going hunting in a few days and I usually whittle a lot on the stand. I used my 1095 harness jack a few weeks ago for about an hour and a half. When I got home I wiped it with alcohol and it was still hair popping sharp. I'll see if this does the same. Fit and finish are nice but if it won't hold an edge it gets put up.
