I previously posted a design I called "Bullpup" which had a 3.75" blade and 4.25" handle. It was a short, stout little knife. A customer wanted a larger version for his hands so this is what he got:
4" 1095/15N20 Deep Etch Damascus Twist Blade
5" Stabilized Box Elder Burl Handle
I did not taper the handle at all on this one. Also I dropped the edge a bit more than the original. This one is heading out to Paul Long for a sheath and then getting its final finish and sharpening.
Pardon the indoor pics....wanted to get something up.
