New Bura markings

Just wanted to mention that I got 2 Bura blades in the last couple of weeks, and both of them now have very neat devangari script for his initials instead of the old "L.B."

He has them marked very neatly next to his sun and moon markings, and then the "U.B." on the obverse side. I haven't gotten too worked up about the old "L.B." but this simply looks far, far better to my western eyes, and adds a kind of Far Eastern authenticity to the whole blade.

I wish I could wave a magic wand and change all my older Bura blades to this scheme, but this will be great going forward.

Yangdu is obviously listening to us. I know this is a small change, but it really looks nice.

I hope the other Kamis take note and do something similar.

Actually, that says, "Eat at Kumar's".


I know what you mean. It is very nice.
However, my old blades are fine the way they are. They reflect different times at HI. The only english now is the UB for Uncle Bill.
