or rather, new colors and a new sheath.

The Bushcraft Survival in two different color combinations with
survival stuff in the sheath and with two different belt clips included:

I do (really) recommend using google translation instead of clicking the british flag.

The Bushcraft Camo Desert and Bushcraft Camo Forest are exactly like the Bushcraft Forest but in new colors:

I really like the desert camo colors and will buy it because of them, though I'll probably remove the camo with some acetone if possible.

I wish they changed a bit the sheath mold itself. It sure can use some modifications.

Why do you think so?

I think they are slim and nice. I also find the retention excelent on the bushcraft series. They really have used the softer rubber handle to make a tight fit.

One thing I'd like to know though is if diamond sharpeners and fire steels are weather proof?

Oh, and did you read the (must-read) google translation?

Retention is good when knife is new. To lock the knife in there is a plastic groove that grabs onto rubber handle. After use, taking knife out and putting it in, that plastic sheath groove sort of cuts into the rubber handle of the knife making kind of channel and retention isn't as good with time. It is not a big deal at all if knife is carried vertically as it was designed and if you don't jump around much. But when carrying knife horizontally in this sheath (can easily be done) or upside down, then stock retention is not enough. I have modified mine so knife locks in like in the kydex, yet is easy to take out. Now I can use stock sheath for horizontal or upside down carry without any worry.

As opposed to Bushcraft series with rubber handles, a similar sheath for Mora clipper works a bit better, because of plastic handle on the clipper. Plastic doesn't wear as fast as rubber. I really think some changes need to be made for Bushcraft series in that area.

When you add retention, you need a better platform for the thumb when taking knife out, to make the extraction easier. The stock grooves on the sheath are not really comfortable. I had to mod that part a bit too.

Don't get me wrong, I like the sheath overall, but would like small things changed a bit. My modified sheath right now works like a good kydex, very secure and easy to use.

Good info! thanks. Any pics of the mods?

Notice the black spot on the sheath. It is where I have pushed the plastic in. I also cut down that original groove in the sheath a bit.

The Velcro strap is there to hold the belt loop down.

Here I made the thumb ramp for easy knife extraction.

Here is how I melted in some hard plastic (shiny part) into the tip of the handle, so the knife locks very securely into the sheath and there is no rubber drag then taking it out and no rubber handle wear anymore.

I use tek-loc when I want to carry knife horizontally or attach it upside down to the backpack strap. I still carry this knife the usual vertical way most of the time.

All this done using soldering iron and heat gun.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pics, I really like the addition of the firesteel holder on the sheaths. I like the new models they are coming out with.

Nice pics.

I just ordered five more carbon Moras from Ragweedforge this week.
The Bushcraft Triflex was among them.
Looking forward to adding them to my carbon Mora stable and trying them out.

This is from google translate:

"On the rugged vagina is a well-lit room for the steel and the diamond will be easy to sharpen the blade. It is easy to replace the two included bältesclipsen that lets you choose how you want to carry your knife."

Why's the grind different for the camo version?

The grind, originating from the mora 2000 design, is supposed to be specialized for skinning. Can't see how that would work better than the regular grind but then I've never skinned anything more than the occasional fruit.

I clean about 100 animals each fall using swiss army to mora to folders, all works fine. Not sure how that grind is supposed to help.

I'm beginning to believe they made it for easthetic reasons and then came up with function afterwards. Mora calls it "flåslipning" which translates to "skinning grind", so I guess that rules out a couple of other suggestions of intended use such as butter spreading.

Btw, I mailed them asking for release dates but no answer yet.
