Hello folks,

Since I just grabbed a Spyderco Bushcraft off the For Sale Forums. I thought I'd stop by and say hello.

Blade Forums is a big place, I can't believe how much of it I have not seen.

I had the hots for this knife when it first came out. Then cooled over the spalted mapled thing, and then lost focus on it.

When a user showed up today, I jumped on it. I remember mostly hearing good things about it in the early reviews. I actually typed I'll take it, before even giving it much thought.

Then I went and searched for reviews, and it looks like I made a good call.

I will post up some photos when I put it to work.

A special thanks to those here who reviewed this knife!

Thanks for the cool pictures bro. :P

Let us know how you like it. It's definitely a sexy blade.

Thanks folks,

Just what I need, another site with cool knives.

I've been snooping around here a bit, some nice rigs. I'm already developing some interest for the Temperance ll. Looks like a sweet blade. I have never been much of a folder guy, but who knows maybe I'll find a Spydie I like and take the plunge.

Very excited to try the Bushy. Except for some early teething pains, all the reviews seem to be extremely positive. It's interesting to hear long time, grizzled knife guys, gush about how perfect it is.

Welcome to the Spyderco family. You will absolutely love this knife! Especially the handle ergonomics. You will not want to set it down. You might find my observations interesting:

David,

I had read your review previously.

As an owner of the same Barkies, an F1, a Kellam Wolverine, and a couple of Kosters, I was very interested in your results. I quite like the F1 as a general purpose knife, but I don't use it much for woodsy tasks.

I am in the process of streamlining my life. I live a pretty Spartan existence to begin with. But lately I have adopted the theory that everything I own needs to serve more than one purpose.

I was always a knife user and not much of a collector. However over time, I have managed to acquire too many knives. Some have never left the draw. I am in the process of "realocating assets". Quite frankley I'm tired of caring for blades I may never use. I am looking to end up with a much smaller collection of versatile users.

I tend to spend a decent amount of time in the outdoors, so I am looking forward to this knife. Almost everyone that has reviewed it appears to be thrilled with it.

I promise it will get put to use,

So, you got lost in the woods and built this quicky lean-to, right?

Love it, looks like a great place to spend some time and relax.

Cool shelter. That's a lot of batoning! It looks like something Colonel Townsend Wheelen would have made or perhaps a lost Viking.

Thanks guys,

Mostly old junk I had laying around the property, old split rails, used tarp, had a lot of fun there though.
Built a reflector for the colder months. That's our Thanksgiving Day Turkey buried in front of the reflector.

Not everything gets batoned,

I love tarps. A lot of options for a low cost,

A slightly airier set-up,

Got home from a few days on the road to find my Bushcrafter on the kitchen table. Looks great, feels great, hair popping sharp. Hopefully some time to play this week. Pictures soon.
