Here is a new one I decided to make for myself. It is my Forager model. It is hand made from 1/8" 1095, Full tang, full flat grind with convex edge. The blade is edge quenched and etched. The cutting edge is 4 & 3/8" and is 8 & 5/8" overall. The handle is Ivory Corian with two 1/8" mosaic pins, two 1/4" mosaic pins and a 1/4" stainless steel lanyard tube. I wanted to play more with the Corian as handle material so I just had to do it. Doug

Looks good Doug.....I'm really into knives that are closer to 5" these days for belt knives....Of course I keep flipping on the matter, but that extra little bit is nice when you want it.

Thanks for the comments and compliments so far. I cant wait to get a sheath done for this one. Doug

Wow! That's one sweet blade. I was thinking it was smaller until you posted the pic in your hand. You spent some time getting that blade to show off the hammon! Really nice.

Looks great Doug. How thick is handle? I think this may be one of your best ever.

The handle taper from 7/8" in the front to 1 &1/8" in the rear feels real nice. Thanks for the compliments.

Nice one doug...Just when I though I had enough knives.

John I say NEVER LOL.

These are coming out nicer and nicer. I am getting some very neat Hamons, and some I am not even finishing the blades so they show.

Thanks everyone so far for the comments and compliments. Doug

I have to say I'm not a fan of white scales but everything else about the knife is great. That looks like a great user.

The scales are actually Ivory not white but in the pictures they look white, I just though it would be cool .Thanks shotgun and barberfobic for the compliments. Doug

Not too bad at all. I shaped it with used 120 grit on a 1 x 30 and hand sanded it and buffed. Not hard at all. Doug

And I even made him hand sand his own corian on this one ... lol.

Awesome work Doug, if that handle was wood of some kind it would rate amongst my perfect blades !!!!!

Everything great. The handle, overall shape, and after all, the awesome hamon...

I love to see knives built for the maker themselves.

Thanks all. This is the third one of this model I have made pimpnugget has one with Buffalo horn the other was done in Denim micarta. I have one cut to shape and that one will have some kind of wood on it. Thanks again. Doug
