Well, I got my first Fiddleback today and it is outstanding! Its too damn wet to do much but I worked it out a little bit. Obviously the first thing you notice is the handle comfort. I really like the relief Andy put towards the front of the swell. Alot of knives you see that are contoured are either too blocky on top and bottom or the tang is not wide enough and they feel thin. This one is perfect. Fit and finish are outstanding with no noticable flaws. Another great feature is the cutout he puts on the bottom front of the handle. All too often when making a knife that area gets real thin and could in time chip off or just pop away from the tang. Also when using liners there is a noticable difference in material removed in that area which makes them look uneven. Great knife Andy and you can tell the time you put into each one. It won't be my last! Here are a few crappy shots:

I'm loving that sheath!

Nice pics and hope you can get out soon and work it.

I love that knife!!!
As soon as I get some extra cash, I am putting it aside
and buying one of the Fiddlebacks for my bushcraft needs.
Or, With any luck, I'll be able to trade for one from someone
who has one he or she wants to part with. I hope. :)

Yeah its niiiiiiice MW! I can't wait to take it out. I tend to be a bit obsessive with my knives so I have literally held it for at least 3 hours. Im already thinking about the next one!

I really like your Hunter model too. Tell us more about that also.

There seems to be a big push for Bushcrafters recently. I'm making more. 3 this week.

The Hunter is a 4 1/4" blade 5" handle. Its actually a new design I came up with a couple weeks ago. I wanted something different than my normal palm swelled knives so I came out with three new ones for people that like simple handles. I really like it so I made myself one. This one is in 5/32" with Crotch Oak and orange G10 liners.

I can see why your Bushcrafter is popular. In fact I think I like it more than your Bushfinger. Its the blade shape. You don't see that too often anymore, with most knives being more of drop point.

Not trying to hijack the thread, I just wanted to say I love your knives.
I just sold my Bark River Aurora, As soon as I can come up with the cash,
I'll be on the prowl for one of your bushcrafters!!!

Every time I see a thread with a Bushcrafter...It makes me want it even more!!!

You have a very nice one!!!

Thank you both. I'm going to make a bunch in the coming weeks.

Beautiful knife! I'm partial to Andy's more pointy tips personally but man I love the lines of that handle!

That's a beauty Chris, congrats. It sure looks good next to the hunter too.
My FB Bushcrafter is one of my favorite knives.
