This afternoon I took apart my Kershaw Barrage to give it a good cleaning and lube and I was very disappointed to see that the plastic pivot bushings where deformed and are now a stretched oval shape instead of circular. The knife is only 3 months old and has not seen any hard use at all, its only been used for opening boxes, cutting cardboard, paper, rope....etc. has anyone had a similar problem?? Would it be possible to replace the pastic with some bronze bushings?? If so does anyone know what thickness and size would work best?? Thanks

PS-ive used Benchmade Blue Lube on the pivot is it possible that this melted the bushings and cased them to deform?

thanks guys. Im not sure if i kept the receipt for the Barrage, will this be a problem?? Also Im thinking about just replacing them with some bronze bushings so I dont have the same problem again but im not sure what thickness to get. I guess i could measure the white plastic ones with a caliper but i dont think i'll get an accurate measurement since they are all stretched and deformed.
