This afternoon I took apart my Kershaw Barrage to give it a good cleaning and lube and I was very disappointed to see that the plastic pivot bushings where deformed and are now a stretched oval shape instead of circular. The knife is only 3 months old and has not seen any hard use at all, its only been used for opening boxes, cutting cardboard, paper, rope....etc. has anyone had a similar problem?? Would it be possible to replace the pastic with some bronze bushings?? If so does anyone know what thickness and size would work best?? Thanks
PS-ive used Benchmade Blue Lube on the pivot is it possible that this melted the bushings and cased them to deform?
