Beautiful work Rick, I really like the design, overall shape, and the wrap. Are you planning on adding these to the line up on wildertools?

very cool  is that scorched jute?
:D Also gay.

Rick...AWESOME looking knives! How are the handles comfort-wise? They look fantastic, in any case.

Unfortunately, it's neither scorched or blood and sweat stained. It is jute wrapped, dyed and soaked in West Systems 105/207 epoxy. Think of it as "wrapped burlap micarta". They are surprizingly comfy and grippy when wet.

I really like these. Nice work, Rick. The shape, blade finish, sheaths, and jute-wrapped handles really combine to make a cool 'neo-rustic' package.

All the best,

- Mike

Rick,

Your sheath work is getting great!

Love the thick leather, the stitching, and the lack of suck that so many of your products have.
