Nice snag! You gonna use that bad boy aren't you? They don't like being stuck in a safe. Now that I had mine out and washed it, it will go back on the belt. The MS has been there for the last 2 or 3 weeks and the AD before that, so now the Badger wants back on.
It's my favorite carry piece, but the othere demand a turn also. For a really comfortable CC rig, talk to Dwayne about a BTB. He's even got one for a pattern. LOL

:grumpy:
And now more than ever the A2 pieces have gone back into hiding, for a while there they were coming out in droves on the exchange.
Mine has that hint of green as well, and the cut edges are rather mossy looking! All my A2 pieces have that green tinted micarta, wonder if its from a particular lot? I bet its from whatever he got in at the time, knowing the history of the timeperiod eh? Hmmmmm, I wonder if the green is residue of spilled CBL?

You've made me do quite a bit of washing! But here goes. My fat A2 smooth bolt has the green (this one is a safe queen that I got from Gundy). Both the fat smooth and slotted bolts have the green (A2 and Infi). The tube fastened one is some sort of a brown?
Looks like it all came from one batch as the pattern is pretty much the same as yours. The one I got from Gundy is an early one as the polished areas of the handle are gun blued. Not so on the other ones. It turns black really quick (the micarta), but then again I wear it next to my skin and it gets sweated on right quick in S Fl.
I much prefer the smooth and slotted bolts for the way they feel in hand, like they were made for me. You'll see what I mean when yours arrives. They both get carried.
Enjoy!
