Most of you guys know about some of the work Reese Weiland does on my knives. Here is a photo of one my Busses he completed and one of his own customs that he made from scratch. First he stripped the Mud Razor and then put a satin finish on it. Busse put the new smog handles on it. I had this knife done to match my Kimber .45 with smog handles. Then, I told him I really liked the style of the Jerry Hossom Retribution but I wanted a longer blade. So this is his interpretation of that knife. I think it came out absolutely gorgeous! It has Damascus Bolsters and Mammoth Tooth handles. He used S30V Steel. What do you think? Reese is in Florida and if any of you need his contact info, email me!

My inner child is crying very loudly... Thanks!

I have got to get something with mammoth tooth one day, talk about classy & TOUGH!

Very nice work on both, congrats.

Nice IceRazor:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Now there are at least two of these beauties in this world:D

and that Weiland blade is spectacular as others are saying:cool::cool::cool:

I like that it differs enough from hossoms design that you think "is that a hos... no... who made that?"

hossom inspired, but not a hossom copy :thumbup:

Exactly, that's what I told Reese when I asked him to make it. I am so impressed with the quality of his work. Very reasonable too.

Wow bro, those are both stunning!

i LOVE the bolsters, VERY VERY nice.

beautiful knives. If you don't mind my asking: How much did Busse charge you to put new handles on your BM and how long did it take? Thanks.

BTW...where in Florida is Reese?

He didn't put the handles on the MudRazor, Busse did that and of course it was two weeks!!! Here is his contact:

Those look great Ronybear! Reese does some fantastic work :thumbup:
Don't let Tony G see that, he may want to steal it from you for a companion to his mammoth tooth AD! :D

Yeh, I was asking about Busse on the handle replacement. How long, exactly, is two weeks? I'm starting to feel like that's the "stock" answer around here. Lol. Reese's work IS beautiful, though. That mammoth bone is gorgeous. Nice pieces, brother.

Btw...thanks for the info.

VERY nice... Both of them!! Yep, Mr. Weiland definitely has some skillz. :thumbup::thumbup: Great pieces, congrats to ya on your newest additions. :)
