Hey guys,
I am soon to be indoctrinated to the Busse ownership/fan club. I've not been properly introduced to you guys and figured I'd make an intro post.
My name is Steve, close friends call me Steve O. I've been carrying knives since my first 2" long buck folder as a kid.
I inherited my Grandad's bucks and Case folders that he used to skin game with, and was given a small Old Timer for a birthday present at age 9 or 10. I stll have and cherish all of those knives.
I entered the military right after high school, in September of 2001, never forget that month.
I have done multiple deployments, my last was in the Persian Gulf. And am an OIF/OEF veteran and have much respect for all of our veterans, as well as our public servants.
My love for guns was encouraged by my time and use in the military and on the civillian front I tried to aquire a small selection of the guns that I love. But,
I soon learned that collecting the guns I liked was extremely expensive and moved my energy to knives a little stronger.
I currently work at Florida State Prison, where all of the really bad boys go. The whole prison is Close Management, which is single cell, behind a closed steel door, full restraints during all movement.
I work on the 4pm to Midnight shift, where we do all the work. The inmates have to be restrained before removing them from their cells just to take them to the showers and to be shaved and everything like that.
FSP is where the death chamber of Florida is located.
So that's what I am currently doing, I am married with no kids, we own a home close to the prison and my hobby is outdoors things, and collecting guns and knives.
I will post some pics to show you where I'm coming from, hopefully these pics will begin to include more Busse's.
I look forward to hanging with you guys in the Busse forum, having plenty of discussions, sharing info, and PLAYING WITH KNIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!
and jerry, DRINKING!!!!! of course,
See you guys around, on the forum. Cant wait to get ahold of some Busse's.
The NMSFNO was my first choice, and it's on way.
I really like the looks of the Mil-Overrun HG-55 and I absolutely want an Ash. Keep em sharp, and lets drink!
-Steve
