new Busse owner and just wanted to say hello

ive been enjoying this section of the forum for a while now and I have finally bought my first Busse from another member, an AMS. raising two teenage daughters doesn't always allow a fella much extra cash, but I got a bonus check and decided to treat myself with a little something. I went with a pretty basic KSF sheath, and being a lifelong hunter I cant wait for whitetail season so I can really put my new knife to work at deer camp. anyway, here she is, and i know compared to the beautiful knives you guys/gals have its nothing fancy, but im really liking this one, and in my opinion a thread isn't complete without pics. ;)

That is absolutely nothing to apologize for!!! Sweet little blade and eminently more practical that a lot of what we post pictures of around here!! Imagine, a knife that someone will actually use as (gasp) a knife!!!

Welcome Lee! Great site, and much to learn here about the Bussekins. I began in early August, have two RMD's, and now shopping for my first Busse. Cheers.
 
That's a great little blade with a very practical blade. I imagine it will perform great as a skinner. The leather work looks nice, did you do it?
 
welcome to the forums and start looking for a 2nd and 3rd job LOL you'll need it to finance what surely will become an obsession. The AMS is a great little knife. Post user pics when you get a chance.

Nice knife, I plan on getting the LE model to go with the ASHBMLE. I may order either an AK47 or swamp rat Ruki with it.
