Well, soon to be. I ordered the Satin Jac last week with upgraded grip option. How long will it take to come in? I was on the "edge" of getting a Chris Reeve. They look nice and are made of that special steel, but there were just more people on this forum and the manufacturer is writing on here as well....so it seemed that there were more fans of this knive and more mfg. support as well. I hope that I made the right decision.

I currently own a Randall model 14, and a Benchmade Elishewitz folder and an old custom maker tanto from a guy named Bob Salpas.

Oh, hi everyone!

Cliff, welcome to the forum.

Please delete the sale information from your post or I will have to move it.

Your Satin Jack will be on the schedule to ship 8-12 weeks after the ordering window closes.

Hope you enjoy your first Busse.

Cliff,
Welcome to the Busse forum, I'm glad that you stopped by.

Be sure to update us when your SJ arrives and let us know what you think

:D:D

I'm confused - why did he have to delete the sales info !!

Rules state that one cannot link information to an auction and cannot sale items on this site without a gold membership or above.

Knife Content: FSH (Just Arrived :D )

Welcome to your new home away from home :) Also congrats on your new order...the new SJ Tac looks awesome!

It just seems so long to wait. Also, if this is a convex grind blade, which side do I sharpen?

Thanks for the welcome! I look forward to more talk and I'll post pix when in.

8-12 weeks is nothing, be glad it's not 2-3 years :) Best thing to do is simply try and forget that you ordered it, next thing you know it will be at your door.

Unintentionally I totally forgot about the FSH's from October, now they are shipping.

As for sharpening...the convex edge was discussed in great detail when Jerry first made the announcement. I think you do both sides to keep it even, and there were warnings from several people to never let it get extremely dull or sharpening would be much more difficult.

You should do a search on this forum to read those posts.
