New busse owner

I received a smog warden in a trade about a month ago, and today i ordered a badger attack from the busse website. I was wanting to know how long the wait usually is. Thank you.
 
about two weeks would be my guess, and congrats!! welcome to the busse forum, from the winner of the first two atlanta pillow fights, champion of the team "no regrets"

jerry will post here when the knives are shipping. since each line stays up for a few months, expect the shipping to start in april or may at the absolute earliest.

only jerry knows when the line is coming down and what is coming next. the fbm's started shipping about six weeks before they went down.

how do you like the smog? i love mine. is yours serrated or satin?
 
Congrats on your first Busse! Welcome aboard! Ohh and the wait will be 2 weeks....:D
 
Welcome to the trough.

The models on the website are offered for a finite period of time.

When they are taken off (with prior announcement for last minute fence sitters...), the shop will begin making that model.

Shipments are normally scheduled to begin 10-12 weeks after the model is taken off the site.

A big thanks to everyone who replied. This group is one of a kind. I really enjoy reading the posts here and, i have even given single malt scotch a try thanks to you guys. So far, I think Talisker is going to be my brand but, I will keep trying new ones. Take care.
 
We really have to consider re-naming this forum.

Maybe...Busse Combat Knives & Scotch Forum?

Of course, that presupposes the existence of Combat Scotch. Not sure that's the right way to go. Jerry is far more likely to drink the stuff than sell it...

Do I need to upgrade to Platinum to help persuade the powers that be??

And I was told 2 weeks on that delivery date as well..
