New Busse/Swamprat/Scrapyard sale forum

I actually do too. Though, I rarely check the main Knife Sale forum now. ;
 
While the new sales forum is easy for us that have already found Busse, I still disagree with the concept in that it cuts off one avenue to expose the knives to new people; that is just a fact.

That is one of the main reasons why I will not be using it.
 
When I first got here I remeber popping in the Chris Reeve forum (6 viewing),
The I saw Busse Combat (53 members viewing)
I had to see what was going on in here?
 
I like it .

The only problem I have with it is that I forget it is here and I go to the other forum first looking for Busses ;)


I also like that there have been very few warnings or other problems associated with it. Good work guys.

I have been thinking about this and I understand this concern. Here is what I would suggest, place a picture of your favorite Busse knife in your Avatar. This follows you everywhere you post on Bladeforums and even to your old posts. You could then put a link in your signature that indicates "My avatar is _______, to see more of the same check out the Busse forum"

While I don't have a link to the Busse forum in my sig, I have a Busse as my avatar and I have received several questions about this via email or PM's and then pointed them to the appropriate info.

Just a thought

I don't like it, but since it is Sparks forum, and he is free to do whatever he wants, I can live with it... ;)
 
I DO LIKE IT! And our sales forum is listed on the regular forum at the top as a link, so anyone looking can just click there. The main reason I like it, have you noticed how you don't have to keep moving your thread to the top. That is because we don't have all that other JUNK er wonderful knives cluttering up our forum. People on Bladeforums are going to find out about Busse just because of the reputation, not because of what is for sale! My Opionion & I'm sticking to it!
 
I like it also. I am interested only in Busse and Bark River (They almost never appear here and I buy those only NEW). In fact I REALLY like the separate FS forum. No if I could just find more money.

If you really want/need a better knife, you'll find busse. I didn't know anything about forums when I needed a better knife in 2001, but yahoo and google hooked me right up with Bussecombat.com. Later on I found out about forums.



As a courtesy to the other forum members I think the new forum is top notch. It makes BF a cleaner place, cutting a huge chunk of the exchange out for those who don't need INFI to maintain spiritual feng shui. Those poor souls...
 
Way too many spyderco's on the exchange let's start a campaign. I'm tired of seeing 3/4 of a page of knives for sale. We must get it down to 1/4.

If it means for less competition and a slower inflation than I like it even more than I've been starting to. It seems more and more common that people are buying a knife and trying to make a quick profit on it. Especially with Scrap Yards. It might be a good thing if we don't have people that want a Busse, Scrapyard or Swamprat and are ignorant to the pricing and will buy a knife for $50 more than it's worth gradually driving the price higher and higher. I understand the supply and demand and I'm not calling out people that practice this even though I don't personally like it. I'm just saying it's a little rediculous that say a knife like the Dumpster Mutt sold for like $70-$75 after shipping and they started selling a week later for $135 :p that's a little absurd :barf:. But hey, we can only do what the market will bear....right? No longer any need to rifle through all the other sales posts for Busses on the bright side.
 
you can always place your INFI for sale or trade in the regular for sale or trade forum.

Why not place your knife in both. There is not a rule against that, If I am not mistaken.
