Check out this one that will be on the way to me pretty soon,
I already brought up the pic within BladeForums so I can't post it again, but direct your attention to the other post, which has some nice looking knives as well! This Butterfly is a rather large one, blade of 5" damascus with cocobolo inserts, almost finished...pretty cool!

It is carbon damascus?? I like the grind for a 5 incher!

Most certainly carbon damascus! I believe it's a mixture of W2 and L6 steel...and very sharp as well!

Damascus looks very good with the cocobolo inserts, Double-G. You lucky dog! :D:D And here I thought cocobolo was just for gun grips. :rolleyes:

This set had the makers face swell right up! Said he wasn't going to use Cocobolo any more as he has an allergic reaction! Not a good way to find that out!!!

When she is done I'll take some scans of the blade and the knife open and closed...;)
