Over in the AKTI forum, I posted a New CA Dirk or Dagger Case that I've added to my California knife law page on my web site.
The courts here in California are now split in whether the prosecution has to prove unlawful intent to convict somebody of carrying a concealed pointed thing. Maybe the state supreme court or the legislature will sort things out, or maybe they won't.
This latest one bodes ill for anybody who says "But officer! I only carry it to open letters when I pick them up at the post office!"
