Hello!
I just wanted to say thank you to Auntie Yangdu and Rajkumar Kami. I just received my Chiruwa Ang Khola and it is a beauty!
I cannot speak highly enough of Himalayan Imports and all that they do!
I also was gifted another Khukuri from my father and I have no idea what or where it came from. It seems really old and is in some rough shape. The handle and pommel are pretty banged up and the cho is broken.
There are no Kami markings and the blade is really worn, as are the karda and chakmak.
Here it is side-by-side with the HI CAK:
Would it be worth trying to get the handle and pommel repaired? I'm not really sure as I am brand new to the world of Khukuris.
At any rate, very cool and thanks again!
Peace and such,
K
