I recently received my CAK from a deal of the day sometime last week. I came back from work and began to unload my SUV from the previous weekend which I had a 4 day training course. After about 30 min of backing stuff away, I remembered to get the mail. There tucked away in a corner by my front gate were 2 packages. One a new ergo grip for my DDm4v1 and the other i knew was my CAK. I opened the package with the ergo grip first and installed it. Being so enamored with my new grip i pretty much forgot about the other package. After doing some up drills i was completely satisfied and put my rifle away. Then i remembered i had another package. So i use my BK2 to open the package with the CAK. After carefully stripping the newspaper wrapping away, i saw the sheath. I remarked aloud that it was a nice looking sheath. And then it happened. I drew the CAK and was just bloody stunned. It is absolutely beautiful. Looking at the blade i saw my own dumbstruck face in its reflection mouth agape at the beauty of and handling of the blade. I forgot all about my rifle and walked into my bedroom just staring at the blade, thinking to myself this is absolutely gorgeous.. and i need to chop something with this.

Thank you so much for the awesome blade, its on my battle belt as i type this, and i will definitely be purchasing and matching one later and probably a WW2, a seax, and numerous other blades. Cherokee Rose your next. For now i am just amazed by my CAK and thank you again Auntie and HI.

You sound like you are coming down with a case of HIKV for which there is no cure. Enjoy it.

Welcome sn8kedoc!
Glad you like your new CAK. Many of us have had the same reaction upon our first purchase.
Be careful. These things are addicting.
Be sure to read the Safety Sticky at the top of the forum and the Warranty in the Link Library there also.

yeah, i saw a bowie on sale for 65 in the market section... about to squeeze the trigger on it....

Since you mentioned it I recommend the Seax in today's DOD it has a fairly good price and is stunning.

Oh and welcome to the club. Himalayan Imports has some of the best polished blades in the world and I'm not saying that in a biased way. It really is true .
