If I'm not mistaken, basic member cannot post pics. The only thing you can do is to upgrade your membership to gold member.

That is the case only if you want to post a picture that is saved in a file on your computer. If you save your pictures on a web photo hosting site or on your own web site you can post them just by using the IMG feature which appears just above the box you type your replies in. You can also use this feature to post pictures from web sites that you visit.
