I just bought my first digital camera and had to see if I could post a picture of my latest knife.
PJ Tomes version of a Scagel, elk scales, forged blades.

Great knife and I hope you really enjoy your new camera.

You're going to need some help with you lighting.
You may want to check out Coop's lighting thread here on Gallery. Or if $75 just isn't in the budget right now, I did a thread a while back called "No Frill Lighting" that won't cost you a penny.

Did you get that knife from PJ recently?

Hey Tex (PhilL)

Yes, I have a lot to learn about the whole digital camera thing. Its nothing too fancy, Cannon A75. I will check out the lighting hints.

I have had the knife a couple of months. Ordered from the man himself last March I guess. As I understand it he is all tooled up to make this model now and it is in his line, this one one was the first. Dont hold me to this though, it would be best to check with him.

I assume you have those Tony Lama boots, a hat, a belt with a big buckle and your name on the back by now.

I just mailed PJ a letter today with my new address and phone #. If I hadn't made the move to Texas I would have seen him at ECCKS in NY on March 4. I haven't missed that show in years. :(

I have a cowboy hat, big buckle and boots at home in Brooklyn, not here yet. In fact I haven't seen that many cowboy hats here.
