So I had an appointment at the hospital today to get the results back from an MRI I had about 2 weeks ago because I tore the ligament in my knee (Honestly to not be able to walk around and have several half finished Beckers lying around is freaking hell)…Anyway, when I got back I noticed a large package on the dining room table, at first I thought it was some drill bits, sanding belts and some other stuff I’d ordered a while back but instead it was these…

First impression is nice (As always)! Couple things I did notice is that these 2 were much sharper OATB unlike all the other BKs I’d received...Not amazing but they could slice regular printing paper ok. Engraving on the 11 is nice and crisp. The sheaths also seem a little sturdier, the 9 has the new giant non rattling tweener style sheath with the MOLLE backing and the 11’s seems to be the newer non dulling one.

Had never shown any of my BKs being used and since I'd gotten my new camera I thought this'd be a good oportunity for some camera and 9 use...Quickly switched the 9's grivory to the micarta my 5 came with and brought it out for a quick test. Also got some SS screws so added them too.
First test...Some kinda pine I think (?), about 4.5" thick.

So far really impressed with the 9, that was the factory edge too, didnt strop or sharpen it. I know this wasnt a very long or detailed test so I'll try better next time.
Finally a really big thank you to the person who sent me these! I'm terrible at thank yous so I cant really elaborate more on this but you know who you are
.
Oh yeah, I began working on my other remora, I tried using it but hated it...Really I could have just changed the guard, rest is overkill.
