Has anyone checked these out yet?

http://www.camillusknives.com/

I just got the email that they had opened their new site, I've never seen any of the knives there and am guessing that they are all new designs.
Please excuse the post if this is old news, but I couldn't find anything related to the new camillus site with the forum search feature.

Nice how they say "Quality knives since 1876."

And the Western "Granpa" folding knives.

Doesn't look too familiar to me.

I'm guessing these knives "ain't from 'round here"

Lifetime guarantee, though.

In all fairness, the China slippies are only part of their product line.

They also have some VG-10, carbon fiber, and G10 stuff going on.

Boy is that site a slow loader, got RoadRunner turbo - very fast and still waiting for te page to load! Turns me off already! :grumpy:

I picked up one to try out. VG10 with the Ti carbonitratedwhatever. Not very impressed. They should be in the price range of Byrd knives despite the VG10 and carboturbocharger stuff.

Wait till you catch them on sale for, say, $4.99 when they go out of business again. Even then I don't know what you can use them for.

The Tigersharp knives are an interesting concept. Not for me of course, but they might be good for those people who tend to destroy their knife 2 days after you sharpen it for them (we all know these types).

tigersharp is interesting as planterz said, but obviously interchangeable blades means cheap steel, not worth the price, also a little curious about the security of them
